Dont want to be one of those God aweful annoying parents but figured I'd put a face to the name. I have a Steal Your Face onesie for her too but she's too little to wear it yet. But I did make sure she had her Raiders one on for last Sundays game : )

No No No please keep young Zoe away from those Raider fans. The thought of her hanging with "Darth rader" in 15 years is horrific.

hey Lobster! I was born in Oakland and my first baby jacket was a Raiders jacket. It's in the BLOOD! Unfortunatly my first born ( daughter ) had turned complete traitor on her father and of all things becomes a CHARGERS fan. First it was Steelers then now a division rival? Betrayal I say. It's bad enough she can't carry on the family tradition but she has to go there? I'm happy to say my son is completely on board. Of course it saddens me to have to explain to him every year that just because the Raiders " rule" as he says, they just don't rule THIS year maybe next ( haha same conversation every year ). He hasn't gotten to enjoy any glory days but I'm hoping he will and soon : )

Just play the "holy roller" clip over and over again. I showed that to my 7 and 5 year olds and they were in shock. "daddy, is that even legal?" I told my kids to get their big butts back to their rooms- and they did!Ha

I forget the total call but "seedy" an "underhanded" were used and that came from the raider announcer.

yeah well if it's any consolation we got burned by the not so " immaculate" reception which was NOT a legal play that year and that tuck rule was bullshit. Oh yeah and the 77 afc championship - Rob Lytle( I think it was ) was out of bounds.

There was a simpsons football episode where Homer was bonding with Lisa because she could pick games. She said something like, "i'm going with the 49ers because of the explosive offense of Montana, I'm picking the giants because of their great defense and...I'm going with the raiders because they cheat."

damn! just like Rodney Dangerfield - no respect! So many good Raiders team and it's like people other than the fans WANT them to lose. Show me where they cheated any worse than any other team

Man, I always remember that super bowl against the Eagles and Lester Hayes has all that stick em. Remember when that was legal too? I'm getting old.

hell yeah I remember.I'm getting old too : ) Hard to believe it was EVER lefal but it was. Just like all those supossed " cheap shots". They wer legal so what are you going to do? That's how the game was played.

Here's how pathetic I am - I bought the DVD of the three superbowls the Raiders won ( theyve been to 5 ) and actually watched them

Not pathetic to have those at all. I love watching those old super bowl movies the night before the big game on espn. Puts me in the mood. Gets me angry though..I say all super bowls should be played out doors on the west coast. Get that first half in sunlight and then the sun setting and darkness in the second half. I just love watching all those rose bowl super bowls and watching it get progressively darker.

yeah. definitely outside. Cant stand insdoors ESPECIALLY astro turf. speaking of the Eagles. ever see that invinceable movie with Wahlberg? BASED on a true story but not entirely true about the walk on guy who got on the team.Nice one you can watch with the kids. I'm a total sucker for inspirational sports movies. They dont make any inspirational Raiders ones about going out and partying and coming back to win the next day in the clutch with a hangover. But they should : )

You're right. North Dallas Forty was supposedly about the Cowboys but that very well could have been the raiders. Plus matuszak was in it.

that's it BD. We're breaking up.

Hey man they're looking good this year. Lots of talent and potential and fairly young too. And come on. They went almost all the way four years straight in THIS decade. One year the EFFIN tuck rule ( yeah Brady tucks it alright ) and then one year that 400 lb peice of crap from the Ravens knocked gannon out cold. Then they finally go and guess who's coaching their opponent? The guy who wrote their playbook and knowns their every move. People act like they've always sucked. PLEASE. Only a couple of teams have done better and most of them with the SAME not multiple dynasty's.

Well, just burn me a copy of all the CDs so we don't have to go through the inevitable "that's mine", "No it's NOT!, yes it is!" drama.

Just have to give you crap re Al. It could be worse - you could be a Lions' fan. That must really suck.

ok nevermind let's work it out. I dont think I could handle another divorce. DEFINTELY could never afford another one. I'm still paying that off and it's been 7 years. I had a coworker who once liked to roughly see if he could tally up how much each time he got some had cost him. Definitely not worth it.

yeah Lions what a shame. the Browns is who I would like to see win. Been around forever why the hell should expansion teams do better? Plus they don't need throwbacks they've kept their plain ugly ass uniform. I like that

Of course i'll be rooting for Oakland but I'm not holding my breath on this year. Damn that sucks too considering they are undefeated in their division and KC is SO over rated

LOL! Exactly. They dont SMELL cute all the time and they dont always SOUND cute when they're screaming at 3am. I heard a hilarious story once how Stevie liked to prank his crew so they got him back by re arranging his furniture all the time. what could be better than getting away with that?

and hell no on Piper but I did have a LEVI sighting yesterday at the store. I wussed out asking him WHEN will he write that trash book and shut that woman up. I dont even care if it is true or not.

when I worked at Tower there was a blind gentleman ( I think Bob was his name but I forgot ) that was blind due to Vietnam. He'd come into the store and I'd read him titles. SUPER cool dude turned me on to all sorts of great tunes. Anyway I was looking for something that came in that I knew he'd like and kept loking and looking then blurted out " damn I must be blind or something" oh SHIT I thought! Of course he started laughing and understood it was a figure of speech.

I'm on to the grandkids now, so I have forgotten the names of my kids...you have a wonderful life (Christmas movie reference) ahead of you. Know you will enjoy the hell out of it!
